GMAN // Seattle WA – Club House

GMAN (Garth Overman) cut his teeth on the decks spinning vinyl house cuts in Los Angeles in the late 1990s. A native of Washington, he returned and settled in Seattle in 2007 on an extended hiatus from the DJ booth as he explored different musical avenues. Lately he’s felt a renewed interest in making heads bob and butts wiggle once again. His tastes in dance music range from banging club tracks to get you moving on the floor, to funky disco classics, to deep soulful grooves that just get your insides all warm and fuzzy.

Ladies, Gentlemen and all people of earth, new format of Spoondrift Radio commences TOMORROW!
Initially, we had some discussion on making Spoondrift a prerecorded show. Upon further review, it was decided it will be best to keep this stream live at all times to ensure the quality of music drifting through YouTube for your listening pleasures and enjoyment. Some videos may or may not be present when reviewing the channel, variable on the song that are played throughout the broadcast. So the only way to be in certain by not missing a beat!
What this all means:
* Better net presence for YouTube algorithms to gain more traction with a wider audience!
* More artists and performers at different show times
* Special guest performers
* Weekend, afternoon, and mid week live streams
* Chat will continue to be available and will always be open to chat and feedback during broadcasts
* Always live, all the time.

dj manos is Seattle’s Seth Branum, a lifelong obsessive collector of music and one of the Northwest’s best kept secrets. Manos are on the path to becoming a dj long before he ever bought his first pair of turntables. From his childhood dreams of being a radio dj, to early mix tapes that he made for playing in his car and attempting to woo high school crushes, he was already developing an ear for how to arrange pieces of music as chapters in a greater story.

DJ Eep is the DJ moniker of Eugene based Anthony Nocero, or as his friends loving call him: Eep. You can usually find him under a VW bus covered in grease, in a mates backyard hangin out.. or occasionally on stage randomly destroying your face with psychedelic jams.

Anthony is a true old school vet from the Bay Area scene, as well as one of the founders of the Eugene full on scene (as part of Mindshaft) alongside DJ Penguin & PsychoActive (now Smoke Sign).

After years of hiatus, we’ve got this old man to come out from under the bus and grace us with his selection

The music found Cheshyre Cruzan in 2002. He had no idea there was an entire planet of others who felt the beats just like he did, until he was invited to his first outdoor event in 2003.

He went home after that party and fully immersed himself in seeking out the sounds that moved him that first time, on a large sound system. Armed with a good ear for great tracks, he wanted to share how those tracks made him feel.

In 2005, he bought a couple of Gemini mixers and a Vestax scratch mixer and started learning how to DJ.

Since that time, sharing the music that makes others want to dance and journey inward has made these many years and many different events he’s played a such a joy and blessing for him.
