[08/26/2018] Spoondrift Radio – Underground Electronic Music hosted by Grei Logic Featuring DJ Manos at 4pm PST.
Ladies, Gentlemen and all people of earth, new format of Spoondrift Radio commences TOMORROW!
Initially, we had some discussion on making Spoondrift a prerecorded show. Upon further review, it was decided it will be best to keep this stream live at all times to ensure the quality of music drifting through YouTube for your listening pleasures and enjoyment. Some videos may or may not be present when reviewing the channel, variable on the song that are played throughout the broadcast. So the only way to be in certain by not missing a beat!
What this all means:
* Better net presence for YouTube algorithms to gain more traction with a wider audience!
* More artists and performers at different show times
* Special guest performers
* Weekend, afternoon, and mid week live streams
* Chat will continue to be available and will always be open to chat and feedback during broadcasts
* Always live, all the time.

From his childhood dreams of being a radio dj, to early mix tapes that he made for playing in his car and attempting to woo high school crushes, he was already developing an ear for how to arrange pieces of music as chapters in a greater story.

Our next gathering will be on FRIDAY, June 2nd.
For this celebration, We have teamed up with the Seattle Psy Ops crew to bring you a whole weekend of dancing under the stars.

* Location is in a beautiful forest area aprox. 1.5 hours from Seattle (pack your camping gear, and get ready to carpool)

* Music will start at sunset Friday evening and continue till mid – afternoon on Saturday.

* The Psy Ops crew will resume music on our sound system till mid day Sunday, We welcome all of you to stay for the next night with Psy Ops.

* We suggest you plan your drive during daylight hours, as these type of locations are much easier to navigate during the daylight.
PLEASE make sure your are prepared for these type of outdoor environments and that your vehicle is worthy of traveling distance.

* An Email will be sent out within 24 hrs of the gathering with Dj set times, location information, and detailed directions.

Bloom Festival at TLC Farm May 20

Tryon Life Community Farm is hosting its annual spring festival, Bloom! Join us in bringing this land to life with live musical performances, skillshares, storytelling, and other activities for kids and adults!
***BLOOM: THE SOCIAL JUSTICE EDITION***
We’ll also be sharing something that’s been blooming strongly here: white folks and people of color working together to decolonize ourselves and our relationships to the land–and to each other. We’re excited to support a POC-only space at this event for the first time, and to invite other white Bloomers to engage in thoughtful conversations and share skills for decentering whiteness. Specific people will be available to mediate hard or awkward moments that may arise for anyone, as we work to support a more just and sustainable future BLOOMing for us all.

What’s a Silent Dance party? A new way to turn up the volume and raise the roof without disturbing the blissful peace of the forest at sundown. DJ sets will be broadcast over radio, so dancers can rock-out on headphones with DJ Grei.

We’ll also have a bonfire and welcome folks to play acoustic music together around the fire.

Food & Drink available by donation, and we invite dishes and snacks to share.

****This is a FUNdraiser for TLC Farm****Entrance is by donation and on a sliding scale of $10-20 per adult (kids are free!)

****PARKING***
As always, we have NO ON SITE PARKING
We’ll be running a shuttle from a nearby parking lot at Riverdale High School, 9727 SW Terwilliger Blvd, Portland, OR 97219.
